Hypnotherapy- Really?

Yes, really. I had to qualify in Hypnotherapy in order to complete my course in Psychotherapy and Counselling otherwise I would never have thought of using hypnosis to actually help people.

I am so glad that I did.

During my training and practice I actually witnessed the difference that Hypnotherapy can actually have on a person and it truly amazed me.

Overcoming anxiety, fears, phobias and stress makes such a huge difference to everyday life for  many people. Everybody knows some one that struggles with one of the above issues but unless you live it you don’t really understand how debilitating it can be.

Hypnotherapy- The Basics

Hypnotherapy is simply the application of hypnosis in a therapeutic setting.

The client and therapist discuss the issues and address the changes that wish to be made by the client. The therapist then helps the client to enter a relaxed state and the desired changes are then put to the client and when successful accepted by the subconscious where the desired changes can be made.

Hypnotherapy is not ideal for everybody and if you are experiencing any mental health problems or just not feeling yourself  please ask for a proper diagnosis from your doctor.

In my experience, the best levels of success are achieved when the client works with the therapist towards the solution. Hypnotherapy is not magic (although sometimes it may feel that way) and so a good level of commitment is required from the client in order for hypnotherapy to be work effectively.
